Who will replace Tim Pane?

Australia team is showing good game in the Ashes series. The team had named the first match in its name, while the second match was drawn. The team also had a strong position in the third match but the batting of Ben Stokes gave England the victory. Captain Tim Paine continues to flop, despite the team's good performance. For this reason, he will not be surprised if he has to be out of the team soon. In such a situation, any other player can get this responsibility. David Warner will never be made the captain of Australia.
1.     Pat Cummins
World number one Test bowler Pat Cummins could become Australia's new Test captain after Penn. He is also the vice-captain of the team at this time. He may not have got the chance to captain Australia yet, but he has a lot of experience in international cricket.

In 2011, he made his debut against South Africa. Along with this, he plays in all three formats for the team. If Tim Paine is removed, he may get the responsibility of captaincy. He has not captained before, but was given the responsibility of vice-captain by looking at his experience. For this reason, he can be made the new Test captain of Australia.
2.     Usman Khwaja
Top order batsman Usman Khawaja can also join the captain's race after the departure of Tim Paine. Khwaja has also been captained for the practice match against Derbyshire. In this team, the captain and vice-captain of the team have been given rest. Khwaja is also among those players who have a confirmed place in the team.

Khwaja is also the captain of Australia's domestic matches in Queensland. He was given this responsibility in 2015 after the demise of James Hopes. For this reason, he can get the captaincy of Australia. There are very few players in the Test team who have experience. Khwaja has so far played 141 first-class matches with 44 Test matches. For this reason, he can be made the new captain.
3.     Travis Head
25-year-old Travis Head was named vice-captain of the Australia team along with Pat Cummins. He had a chance to captain the match between Graeme Hick XII and Brad Haddin XII before the Ashes series began. At the age of just 21, he was made the captain of South Australia. He was the youngest captain in the first-class history of 122-year-old South Australia.

He is also the captain of the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. He has had the opportunity to captain Australia A on several occasions. This shows that he has experience in captaining other countries as well as domestic. Head has played 11 Tests and 42 ODIs for Australia. His batting average is around 46 in Tests. Given these records, he can get the captaincy of Australia team after the withdrawal of Penn.
4.     Matthew Wade
Despite Tim Paine is in the Australia team, wicketkeeper batsman Matthew Wade sealed his place in the team by performing brilliantly for the home match and Australia A. He also scored a century in the first Test of the Ashes series. He has played 23 Tests and 94 ODIs for Australia so far. He also has a lot of captaincy experience.

He is also the captain of Tasmania at home. In early 2017, he was also named captain of the Australia ODI team. After Steven Smith was injured, it was decided to make him captain for the New Zealand series but he was unfit. For this reason, he could not get a chance to captain. If Tim Paine is dropped from the team, he can play the role of captain as well as wicket-keeper.
